Christian Life Coaching is about coaching other believers toward their life purpose. However, the life coaching principles can also be used in coaching non-Christians. The life coaching process walks participants through discovering and clarifying your unique life purpose, your passion and unlock your potential. I integrate the biblical worldview so you can recognize your potential and effect personal change.
As my client, our relationship will begin with building rapport and active listening and thought-provoking questioning by me, followed by self-discovery, improved focus, and a sense of direction by you. We work on who you want to become and what you want to achieve. I show you how to create a vision and plan for your God-given dreams and goals. I help you address obstacles that are preventing growth, identify barriers and limiting beliefs that are holding you back and help you close the gaps between where you are and where you want to be, faster than you would on your own.
All teams are groups but not all groups are teams. Group coaching involves a small number of individuals meeting together on several occasions for the purpose of learning, increased awareness, and developing new skills. Group coaching sessions create engagements that include the entire group’s input in thinking, discussions and results aimed at developing solutions. The cohesive bond that is formed empowers each person to develop the leader within and shine in a safe environment that nurtures the group as a whole. This experience follows the same premise as an academic think tank.
If you want to know God more and focus on His goals for your life, as a Christian life coach, I will walk alongside you to help you gain a greater awareness of where God is leading you. God has designed every individual with a unique design and has gifted you with unique passions to motivate you in His service. Christian life coaching helps you discover and live your unique life purpose so that you can better serve the Kingdom.
Once you have made contact with the life coach, the process begins with a complimentary consultation to determine if you will move forward into coaching and it sets the tone for an ongoing relationship. There are a set of tools used in the life coaching process to help identify your strengths, spiritual gifts, complete an assessment of your personality type, find out what type of roles suit you best, create a personal value statement to, clarify vision, develop a strategic plan and set achievable goals.
In the initial consultation, questions are asked by both parties – details of the coaching process, information about the coach, desired focus of coaching, complete the coachee’s profile, discuss confidentiality, parameters of the specific coaching agreement, etc.
